Minimalist Vitamin C Serum Review – Rahul remedies

Minimalist Vitamin C Serum: Today, I review a very popular serum “Minimalist Vitamin C Serum”. Minimalist is heavily inspired by pioneers in this field of transparent skincare which is the ordinary so ordinary brought a lot of change in the whole skincare field and became more conscious about what they are putting in their products, also very transparent about what all ingredients are going in and percentages of the exact ingredients which is all very beneficial for the consumers. So, I do feel ordinary brought this massive change in the skincare market.

I do feel that brands who are coming out with the transparent skincare line are really going to benefit both the consumers and people like me who want to prescribe products and know exactly what is going on in the ingredients so I know what is best suited for the others. I do like the range of skin care products that are available in pharmaceutical grade ingredients and protein ingredients which can help in targeting and battling common skincare concerns that we have so I do appreciate that.

How to use It?

According to the brand, You can apply this serum in the morning and evening. But I highly recommended applying this once a day because it is sufficient and especially when comes to Vitamin C it is a little drying so you don’t need to apply this two times a day.

If you are applying this serum in the morning then please make sure you put sunscreen after that. Or if you are using this in the evening, a regular moisturizer you can consider it for moisture.

Minimalist Vitamin C Serum Packaging & Availability

Packaging: This serum comes in an opaque bottle. As we know Vitamin C loses efficacy when exposed to air or light. Light can not pass through this packaging, but I can’t say about the air because this has a dropper kind of packaging. Packaging-wise, it is quite good.

My Experience:

Vitamin C is a good ingredient to include in your skincare routine. It helps in reducing dark spots, increases collagen synthesis as well as protects the skin from ultraviolet radiation. Vitamin C is not produced by the body so, we need to take it orally but we don’t know how much of the oral vitamin C actually reaches the skin. So, using tropical formulation on the skin works best.

The effectiveness of Vitamin C majorly depends on the amount of pure Vitamin C that’s delivered to the deepest of your skin. OF serum delivers 8-10% of Vitamin C into the dermis it works like a magic one but at the same time, we have to keep in mind that Vitamin C is highly unstable in its purest form which is ascorbic acid. So, it’s not easy to formulate a Vitamin C product, it’s not a piece of cake, and also it loses efficacy when it is exposed to air or light.

Do patch test is highly recommended before using this product all over your face which simply means you have to test a little bit of the product on certain of the face may be on the hands or neck, leave it for 24 hours and see for any allergies or redness if there is not you can go ahead and apply this product all over your face. Yes, the test is very necessary to ensure that you don’t get the reaction all over your face.

My thought: I am trying this product for about a month and I love this product a lot. I have used 3-4 Vitamin C serums in the past but this is by far the best Vitamin c serum that I have tried. Now you can start using Vitamin C serum once you are 17 that’s when your skin requires this kind of serum. You know everyone has a different skin type so you have to understand what does your skin require and at what point of time but yes generally you can start using it after 18.

Secondly, i really like the consistency and the glow that this gives it’s so good. It’s non-sticky, non-oily. So, it can be used by all skin types and that’s another thing that i love about this serum. Another thing that I really like it is beautifully formulated with one percent Ag. Now Ag is acetyl glucosamine which is a variant of hyaluronic acid, it helps the skin to make hyaluronic acid and hyaluronic acid helps skin to maintain normal hydration and elasticity. So I really like that they formulated this serum with 1% Ag.
